Students who did not do their What is your Life's Blue Print? Project/Vision board will have this Fall break week to complete it and hand it in on October 3rd, 2016. Students will not receive full credit for it but I will replace the 50% they did receive for not handing it in. I hope my students take advantage of this one time offer.

Enjoy the Fall Break!
Students can use ReadTheory.org while on break. If you are reading on grade level, scoring a 80% this can be used as extra credit if need be. Mrs. Rodriguez Testing Tips:
*Students go to bed early~get at least eight hours of sleep. *Eat a good breakfast at home or at school. *Read the directions carefully and go over your work when you are done to do a recheck. *Always do your best! Good luck! Mrs. Rodriguez What is your Life's Blueprint project is due September 14th, 2016. Students will have computer lab (2 sessions) time this week to assist them with finding artifacts to use on their Vision boards. Students will do a presentation in class.
Students were given a homework packet today for The Call of the Wild. The Homework is due this Friday, September 9th, 2016. Late HW will not be accepted. Students can read The Call of The Wild by following the Youtube links on the previous blog entry.

Students are discovering their Life's blueprint while creating their vision boards. Students have read different selections: The Triumph of Kindness, Inner Strength from Desperate Times, Find a Good Frog. Students did a compare/contrast of a song and poem- "Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night" by Dylan Thomas, "Even my Dad Does Sometimes" by Ed Sheeran |
