Students have been working diligently on their illustrated Myths during class and at home. Projects are due on Tuesday, October 17th, 2017. An extra couple of days have been given. The projects are coming along nicely with great creativity!
Ms. Rodriguez Students selected a partner to work with to create an original illustrated Myth. Last week students began coming up with ideas, graphics for their project. I can't wait to see what they create!
Mrs. Rodriguez A Myth is a belief, a custom or a natural phenomenon.
Students will be working with a partner to create an original myth that explains a belief, custom or natural phenomenon through the actions of gods or heroes. The myth will teach a lesson or a moral and the illustrations will compliment the myth as it unfolds. http://www.history.com/topics/ancient-history/greek-mythology/videos/greek-gods I hope everyone has enjoyed the Fall Break! Now back to work! We are getting reading for a few new things coming up in the month of October. In Springboard we are taking a look at our Embedded Assessment Two, check out your online book as well as working in class. Our assessment two will be to illustrate a Myth. I always enjoy incorporating Art into the curriculum. Keep your eye out for blog updates.
Our Student-Led Conferences will be fast approaching during the week of the 16th-20th Make sure all incomplete work is handed in for all subjects. Be an advocate for your education and success! Mrs. Rodriguez |
